Corrections:
PART I - Setup and Components
Thanks to Tegre Layne for the following rule correction. (Setup)
- My only question so far is do we set up the board before or after secret objectives are
handed out.
From looking at page 6 of the rule book Creating the Objective deck(stage 7)
does come before board set up (stage 9).
Thanks to Deniz Bahadir for the following rules correction (Setup)
- When building the universe one has to lay down a tile with at least
one planet on it if one did not do so in the turn directly before. Only
if one does not have left any tile with planets on it this restriction
does not apply any longer.
(Page 8, 3rd Column, 2nd Paragraph)
PART II - Strategy Cards and Expansion
Thanks to Mike Dowd for the following rule correction. (Combat)
- During your section on combat, you stated a few times that combat rolls need to be
higher than the ships' combat value. But rolls need to be equal to or higher.
Thanks to Joe McKinley for the following rule correction. (Transfer Action)
- You cannot perform a planetary landing on a neutral planet during a

Thanks to Jimmy Yang for the following rule correction. (Movement)
- I did see that in the second episode of TI3 during the movement session (33min and
20sec) there is a mistake. You stated that "a race cannot move through a system that
has been activated this round". You stated that the yellow cruiser couldn't pass through
their own activated system. However, in the rule book (pg. 11, 3rd column, first
paragraph, last sentence), it states that "Ships are allowed to move through systems
containing friendly Command Counters". There is an illustration on p.13 example #2.
Thanks to Deniz Bahadir for the following rules correction
- You have a little typo in the subtitles during explanation of the strategic action. The resource value of a planet is the green number on
the bottom _left_ (not on the right) of the planets/planetcards.
- I also thought that in 3 or 4 player game, where one has two strategy cards, the higher number indicates the oder of play. However, I was
unable to find this rule in the rulebook, so maybe it was just one of
our house rules.
- While presenting the transfer action you said "both the systems have the opportunity to produce". It is important to emphasize that only
_one_ system is allowed to produce units (or a spacedock) not both.
